I cut two small branches before the spring came about and put them in water. They flourished and leafs came out pretty much instantly.

The orange tree is featuring lots of flowers this year and with it comes bees.

The smell from the tree is almost overwhelming

Hopefully the bees are doing me a favor. I want plenty of oranges next year.

It's hard to tell the sheer volume of flowers, but man do they smell good. The entire backyard has a scent of orange blossom.

After: Pulled it off the window and installed two wooden trellises to support the continuous climbing

A look at the side yard, or as I call it, Edgar's habitat. These plants were almost dead when I moved them last year to this location (only a few dry and brown leaves), but as you can see, they are now flourishing. Visitors can see this instead of a fence when staying in the guest house.

I was out looking for Edgar, and I spotted this creature on a passion fruit flower.

A second look and it sure looks like a bumble bee that fell into a vat of radioactive waste

I have never in my entire seen such a large bumble bee. Or so I thought. Turns out that this creature is a male Carpenter Bee

I was convinced that this plant died this winter, but I could not have been more wrong.

A closer look at it

A branch from the orange tree. This shows you why it hurts to pick oranges.

My Garbera that almost died. It now thrives and has multiple large flowers like this one, at once
