Our Christmas tree in early January. Could barely fit in the van, but it sure left a nice smell in the car for a little while.
The line to get in to SF Beer festival wrangled itself many hundred meters, all the way out to the streets of San Francisco. Once the doors opened, the line moved pretty quickly.
San Francisco International Beer Festival. 200 something breweries in one spot. All you come equipped with is one mug that you fill where ever you want and how often you want. This is heaven.
Coolest brewer on the block. His dreads went all the way to the floor. One is suspended in a helium balloon.
I love having an orange tree.
This is the result of one basket, or approximately 17 oranges.
My first try at making rose bouquets.
Erica performing arrhythmia.
This is in the middle of May, not December...
I love how the belly looks like in this picture.
Puss came back with some weed seed from the outside. It was everywhere so it had to be taken out. Notice the ice block I'm holding. I burned my self pretty bad on the grill earlier, so I was holding various ice blocks for the rest of the day, and night.
Found this feisty little creature on a pumpkin leaf in the backyard.
Adam grilling up some meat for Theron's birthday
Theron opening birthday presents
A week before taking off to the east coast
Father-in-law Dana at a Bergstrand hosted familynight
This "gardener" is apparently sponsored by Skyles
A tiny butterfly is resting on our pelargonium citrosa
There is a plethora of large spiders in and around the house. Spider webs can be found everywhere. I have no idea what this specific one is, but it's resting in the middle of a web that spanned 3 meters across.
This is one of 2 common species of bumble bees we have in the area. This one is more than double the size of the "regular" bumble bee and not even close to as pretty as its relative. Here, a passion fruit flower is getting some love.
This dragonfly did not move at all, no matter how close you came. I first thought he met an instant death when landing, but as soon as I touched him/her, it flew away
This is what's left of a bird that Linux (presumably) put right by my side next to the bed. If Diana hadn't warned me, I would have stepped on it when getting up. It's his second prey to my knowledge. First one was a lizard. Good boy!
One of my goals in life is to shoot a humming bird while feeding. This is not quite that, but it is a hummingbird nonetheless.
My home office where I work full time from
Another view of the office. Right to the left of it is a playpen for Mia to jump around in...once she get to that age.
Sonja cooking for familynight
Harry Potter upgraded his flying broom this year, but kept it British.
Diana's co-worker James in his fully home made costume of Two-Face. Very nice job I'd say.
Theron playing "Gris" at Sonjas'. Sonja however was at the hospital this day so we are entertaining Bibbi with cards. Theron displays the green visitors tag.
Part of the gang in West Sac.
Jesse likes to dramatize his food captures. This time it's a corn bread Dalahorse that gets its limbs cut off
Linux's second prey. He is improving his skills, though I think that the birds he catch are either sick or already injured.
